About iCharge
Working across Lancashire and Cumbria, iCharge Ltd specialize in the installation of Electric Vehicle chargepoints.
We offer a full range of testing, installation and maintenance services for Home Charge EV customers, Business Workplace EV chargers and Local Authorities installing EV charging facilities for the General Public.

Our options range from single domestic wall-mounted charging points, to large scale electric hubs where multiple vehicles can park up to charge. Our team is on hand to offer objective advice on the best option for your situation.
We can also help you to decide the best place to install your charge point. Once your charging point installation is complete, we provide a full demonstration on how to use it.
We place a particular emphasis on customer care and ensure our installers are highly qualified and up to date with all training requirements. We can also offer technicians and electricians with enhanced DBS checks for working environments.
Approved electricians
Our skilled electricians are all NICEIC, ELECSA and ECA qualified. This means our work is completed by registered contractors and meets required safety regulations.
In order to install a charging point, it’s preferable to have a 100A fuse. This allows the load of the charge point. If you have a 60A main fuse, it is advised to upgrade your supply to 100A and these are carried out by your electricity power network.
Any other electrical upgrades required will be noted during our initial site visit and we will quote for those works as well as installation.
OLEV-approved engineers
We are approved by the Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV), which means that our installers are eligible for the Workplace Charging Scheme and Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme.
This grant funding scheme equates to £350 off the cost of purchasing and installing a charging point for customers. You can find out more about these schemes here.
We can help you check your eligibility for the EVHS , WCS and schemes and support your application for the funding.
